Payment Terms and Conditions
Reviewing the following guidelines will help you understand payment terms and NCAA compliance requirements related to my services.
Payment Terms
Applicable fees for all programs and consultations, including renewals and extensions, are due in advance of services. Please note all bank transfers are subject to a service charge. Credit cards are not accepted.
Initial Assessment & Consultation
The fee for the Initial Assessment & Consultation may be applied as a credit toward any other program offered by Nicky Goetze within the first 30-days.
Travel Expenses
Clients may incur additional fees to cover applicable travel time and related expenses if meetings (including the Initial Assessment & Consultation) are conducted more than 100 miles from my home location. Airfare (coach class), rental car, gas, hotel, and incidental expenses will be charged on an actual basis. Meal reimbursement will be charged at $50 per day and mileage will be calculated based on current IRS tax codes. Travel expense estimates are available upon request.
NCAA Compliance
To comply with NCAA Bylaws, fees paid to Nicky Goetze are not contingent on a prospective student-athlete either being recruited to play golf in college or receiving any institutional financial aid – all fees are due in advance of services.
Prerequisites for Prospective Clients
Dedication to a prescribed game plan is vital.
Improving academic and athletic skills, creating a proper tournament schedule, identifying potential “best-fit” schools, communicating with coaches, and ultimately, making a final college choice, require a collaborative step-by-step approach. Staying patient and keeping an open mind while taking on these activities is essential.
Remember, the pressures of college recruitment can be intense. But, utilizing my recommendations and maintaining a consistent work ethic will ensure that you are doing the right things at the right time as you pursue your goal of playing college golf.
Please take a moment to review the following prerequisites and standards of conduct as you prepare to make a commitment to work with me.
Prospective Client Commitment
Regardless of the program selected, junior golf clients must be open to the guidance I provide and demonstrate a commitment to…
- Excelling academically
- Improving their golf game
- Securing regular access to a quality practice facility and golf course
- Working regularly with a qualified swing instructor
- Developing mental skills
- Participating in a fitness and nutrition program
- Competing in regional and national tournaments
- Preparing for success as a collegiate student-athlete
Good Behavior Notice
As a part of your commitment toward improvement and personal growth, you must observe high standards of conduct. This means no tobacco, alcohol or drugs. Clients should conduct themselves as ladies and gentlemen at all times. Repeated violations of expected standards may result in dismissal from the program and forfeiture of fees paid.
NCAA Compliance
Per NCAA Bylaws, I do not market a prospective student-athlete’s athletic ability or reputation, negotiate or promise scholarships, or serve as an agent in any way.
I may serve as a reference for prospective student-athletes. In addition, it is permissible for me to distribute high school academic and athletic records to college coaches without jeopardizing a prospective student-athlete’s eligibility.
Note that I help my clients manage all forms of communication (email, phone calls, personal meetings) with coaches, and I encourage the junior golfers I work with to correspond directly with coaches as a part of an effective outreach plan.
